Q+A: Is There A Difference Between Vista & XP. When It Comes To AVG’s Detection Rate ? Posted: 13 Dec 2011 09:15 PM PST RR 4.0 Q: Is there a difference between Vista & XP. When it comes to AVG's detection rate ? A: There does appear to be some minor differences. Such as in cookie detection rate and when it comes to old XP virus builds. (Basically meaning if you have an XP era virus on a Vista system, AVG picks it up as something completely different. As compared to say an XP era virus on an Vista computer.)
