Blog Update #186.5 – I Want Everyone To Welcome “Erin” To Our (CSW) Comment Moderator Position Posted: 15 Oct 2011 08:40 PM PDT Dear Readers, We have noticed we have been getting spammed hardcore by bots (Along with unverifiable ad spam and comment spam). Mainly do to our stellar search engine and keyword ratings. So after an e-mail from one of our readership Sanjay S.outlining the issues along with last weeks chat with our very own Scam Watch feature master "Nico". I have had a quick Skype chat with Remy our very own Editor-In-Chief and we both have agreed to do the following. We have placed Erin to the position of Comment Moderator. She will from today be watching and approving and or dis-approving comments. I have already spent quite awhile today with Erin getting rid of some of the spam bots. In the end we decided it would take too long to go over all of over 5,000 plus comments. But we did go back time wise pretty far and we still have some work to do. So just to clarify this will not be Retro-Active move. But we also want to say outright this move will not impact any of our comment related policies or the time it takes for us to respond to comment left by our readership and or membership. On An Important Side Note: If your comment has been removed for what ever reason please let us know. As we will try to correct any errors as they may come up. Please use the appropriate comment section or our main e-mail address computer.savvy@hotmail.com.
Till The Next Blog Update, Danny |
