EPD 70: Fan Mail Friday’s (12/02/2011)

To The Computer Savvy Weblog "Management Team",

Ok to start off. I have to say I love your guys site. So much so I have to admit it is my guilty pleasure.

But saying that I have a gripe / bone to pick with you guys. So why do you guys so often tease us with banners that says certain content is **Coming Soon**. But that never actually gets published ?

I see this mainly on your Reviews and Features pages. Sometimes it is there for weeks or even months. With no updates or content added to that section. (or a new review for the promised program version code.)

PS: Keep up the good work guys. I just had to get this off my chest. No ill will on my end just a gripe and a question I had.

Danny's Direct Reply: Well, Candace. To be as honest as I can be. It is all Remy's fault (Joke) LOL. Nahh to be serious about your comment / question. We have noticed that we have been trending in that direction (I assure you it is not on purpose). We have so many ideas….that we sometimes lose track of an idea such as a certain feature or a review. Sometimes we even wait to long that a newer version. That comes out before we have time to do the original version review.

So, Candace I really want to say it will never happen again going forward. But I don't want to lie to you. Maybe Remy has a more profound answer to your comment / question. Because that is about all I can say about this at this time.

Remy's Direct Reply: Again, Candace it is really hard for me to come up with any one answer to your question. I can say that we would never want to tease our readership / viewership (In anyway). We appreciate your dedication to the site and just by the virtue of you noticing this issues. Proves you you are indeed one of our hardcore readership.(So, Kudos and thank you for that)

I will say this. I will make an effort along with the rest of our team. To really try to keep our promises with our **Coming Soon** banner. But you have to also realize we do plan ahead. So there may indeed be a feature or review coming. That we want to advertise before hand. So coming soon is a subjective term at least to me.

But I do promise we will indeed use it more wisely and have a less of a wait to said promised or teased content.

**If you want be sure of content that will be coming to (CSW). There is always our Twitter feed or our weekly Sunday Blog Updates. Heck, you could even e-mail us and we will let you know ether way.
