Q: How Do I Remove/Deactivate The AVG Free Anti-Virus 2012 Security Toolbar ?

A: I have found 4 different methods to remove or just deactivate The AVG Free Anti-Virus 2012 Security Toolbar. Just follow 1 of these 4 methods and you should be AVG Toolbar Free.

Method #1 : To Remove the AVG free Anti-Virus 2012 Security Toolbar

A. Re-run the AVG install file

B. Then select Add/Remove Feature and then when the wizard gets to the option

C. Un-select it and then and then complete the wizard.

Method #2 : To Remove the AVG free Anti-Virus 2012 Security Toolbar

A. Go To Windows Control Panel

B. Then select Add/Remove Programs Or Programs And Features

C. Select AVG 2012

D. Select Change or Uninstall

E. Now just wait till it loads up the wizard.

F. Now Select Add/Remove Feature Or Remove

G. Now Select AVG Toolbar

H. Complete Wizard. Now you should be toolbar free.

Method #3: To deactivate The AVG free Anti-Virus 2012 Security Toolbar in Mozilla FireFox

A. Open FireFox

B. Open the Tools option

C. Choose Add-ons

D. A New Window will open up

E. Go to AVG Toolbar

F. Click Disable

G. Re-start Browser

H. Toolbar should be gone (But be aware it is not deleted it is still there just not de-activated)

Method #4: To deactivate The AVG free Anti-Virus 2012 Security Toolbar in Internet Explorer 9

A. Open IE

B. Open the Tools option

C. Choose Internet Options

D. Then to the PROGRAM tab

E. Now select Manage Add-Ons

F. Click Disable

G. Re-start Browser

H. Toolbar should be gone (But be aware it is not deleted it is still there just not de-activated)
