Malware (also known as malicious software) – consists of programming (code, scripts, active content, and other software) that is designed to disrupt or deny operation, gather information that leads to loss of privacy or exploitation, or gain unauthorized access to system resources, or that otherwise exhibits abusive behavior. The expression is a general term used by computer professionals to mean a variety of forms of hostile, intrusive, or annoying software or program code.

It is official The Computer Savvy Weblog has reached over 5,000 official comments (Not including our own). I'd like to thank all of our membership and to all of The Computer Savvy Weblog readership. This is a huge goal for us and it is even bigger with the new year. Just around the corner. So thanks again to everyone who made this possible.
**A Fun Fact: The Computer Savvy Weblog reached over 2,000 comments on Oct 12th, 2009 or for our hardcore readership. Way back in Blog Update#83.5.
